Le Petit Ruisseau is an ancient farmhouse which has stood beside the little stream in the heart of the bocage countryside and close to the wild beauty of the marais for some 350 years.

At one time part of a large farming complex the house looks out over two ancient barns...whose soft stone glows in the early evening light and which still store the cider and calvados which is pressed and distilled during autumn.

Le Petit Ruisseau is in the hamlet of le Douit just outside the village of Biniville which is situated halfway between the historic towns of St Sauveur and Valognes and only 30 minutes from the amazing Normandy beaches.

On the Cassini map of 1750 the hamlet is marked as Le Douy...it just, maybe that the house is shown on the map...take a look!
